Sweet St. Patrick’s Day Treats in Miami

Looking for a St. Patrick’s Day treat beyond the standard green beer? For those with a sweet tooth seeking some festive bites, Miami is serving up plenty of goodies to enjoy. Let’s take a look at a few.

Bread pudding is a classic, and you can enjoy a twist on the dessert by heading over to Batch Gastropub in the Brickell area. This St. Paddy’s variation consists of a Guinness cinnamon soaked in heavy cream with some nutmeg and vanilla seasoning before it’s baked with some chocolate chips. The dessert will be available on the 17th so make sure you get there early. Batch Gastropub’s address is 30 SW 12th Street.

Also in Miami, Azucar Ice Cream Company is getting festive with its appropriately named Getting Lucky ice cream which consists of vanilla combined with chocolate chunks and some Bailey’s Irish Cream. The treat is only $4.50. Azucar is located at 1503 SW Eighth Street.

Have you been to the fireman-owned Wynwood bakery better known as Fireman Derek’s Bake Shop? If you haven’t, take some time to visit on St. Patrick’s Day and check out the Irish Car Bomb, a dessert pie made with Oreo crust, Jameson caramel, Guinness, toasted almonds, and Bailey’s Irish Cream custard filling.
