When it comes to summer events in Miami, there are a lot of relaxing activities like park exhibitions and fruit festivals to choose from. So take advantage of a less crowded Miami in the summer and have some fun with these local events: 

 

Miami Salsa Congress

Eden Roc Miami Beach, Miami Beach

July 21-July 25

During the annual dance spectacular, get ready for five days of hip-shaking, arm-swaying programming. The Latin music festival, one of the largest of its type, brings together the best salsa performers, dancers, DJs, and bands from around the world. Pool parties, evening galas, dancing classes, and live performances are all part of the festivities.

Redland Summer Fruit Festival

Fruit & Spice Park, Redlands

Start the summer season off right with a selection of South Florida’s tastiest all-natural goodies. Guests are invited to try and purchase their favorite local and exotic fruits at this annual event. Event admission is $15 for adults (12 and up), $8 for children (11-6 years old), and free for children under the age of five.
