Pitbull Has Big Plans for Miami Beach

If you live in Miami, chances are you’re very familiar with a certain celebrity who goes by the monikers of “Mr. 305” or “Mr. Worldwide”. If you guessed Pitbull, you are correct! The rapper has become quite the star in the Magic City as well as throughout the world. The Miami native legally known as Armando Christian Pérez has had several hits including “Give Me Everything”, “Feel This Moment” featuring Christina Aguilera, and “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)”.

With his undying support for Miami and reinforcing its worldwide exposure, Pitbull recently made headlines after it was reported he will be launching a new project. No, it’s not a new album (he already did that earlier this year). Instead, Pitbull plans to open a new restaurant in what is arguably South Florida’s hottest thoroughfare: Ocean Drive. The eatery will be called iLov305 and will occupy the Bon Air Hotel’s former home. Considering his status as a major Miami celebrity, it’s almost a guarantee iLov305 will become a major success.

The restaurant business is not an entirely new endeavor for Pitbull. In 2012, he became an equity partner in Miami Grill, a well-known local favorite formerly known as Miami Subs Grill.
