Lil Wayne Reduces the Price of His Island Home

American hip hop recording artist Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr (better known as Lil Wayne) has earned multiplatinum sales and critical acclaim ever since he released his solo debut album Tha Block Is Hot in 1999.  He would go on to achieve an even greater amount of popularity after the release of his—as of this writing—three Tha Carter albums, released in 2004, 2005, and 2008, respectively.  Some of his most popular songs include “A Milli” and “Got Money”.

Back in 2011, Lil Wayne purchased a nine bedroom, ten bedroom home for $11 million located on the eastern side of the Miami Beach island La Gorce.  Last year, the 15,000 square foot home was put on the market with an asking price of $18 million.  The home was reduced recently to a new low price of $16 million.  One of its distinctive features is the custom built skate park located on the rooftop.  Other notable features include a boat dock, a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a covered patio area, a terrace with views of Biscayne Bay, and a built-in elevator.  The home’s address is 94 La Gorce Circle.

La Gorce Island has several waterfront homes and is located north of the La Gorce Country Club and west of Allison Island.
