Hyundai Air & Sea Show – May 27–28, 2023

The Air & Sea Show at Lummus Park in South Beach is sure to be the highlight of the weekend. Enjoy live entertainment from top list musical acts, and witness amazing flyovers from fighter jets and bombers. The show features a patriotic concert right on the beach, as well as powerboat racing, water sports activities, motocross, sand sculptures, kids activities, and acrobatics. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and local police officers, firefighters, and first responders will all join in the celebration. The show is free, taking over the Ocean Drive between 11th & 14th Str.

 

Take a Trip to the Deering Estate – May 27-29, 2023

Go to the Deering Estate and take a step back in time! Located in Palmetto Bay and situated on the banks of Biscayne Bay, the c. 1900 Deering Estate was once the winter retreat of industrialist Charles Deering. Explore the rooms and grounds of this grand estate, or go kayaking in the waters around the estate. You can also take nature tours to learn about the local plants and animals. For Memorial Day Weekend, the Deering Estate is offering a special $5 admission! 

 

Unwind at a Picturesque Shore

Enjoy a family-friendly day of barbecuing at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park, which features soft sand and a historic lighthouse. If you’re looking for some water sports, you can rent kayaks and paddleboards at Crandon Park, or take a dip in the ocean behind Lummus Park in South Beach. For an adventurous experience, visit Haulover Park, Miami’s only clothing-optional beach. Find your perfect spot and relax on a beautiful beach.
