Love marine life? The Sea Turtle Nesting and Release Program, made possible by the Miami Dade Parks programs seeks to educate Miami about the importance of sea turtles in the area. Miami Beach is one of the largest nesting grounds for sea turtles, with hatching seasons falling on Miami’s busiest time – May through October. You can learn all about their life, their habits, and their threats. Watch them hatch and find their way back to the sea at Haulover Park (Wednesdays) and Crandon Park (Fridays).

 

In the Miami Design District, explore the art of Miami on weekends for free. Art murals, outdoor exhibits, galleries, and architecture can be viewed upon with admiration for the rich culture of Miami. On Sundays, The Market will have locally sourced produce and food along with living entertainment.
