Miami Beach Restaurants Will Be Open Longer
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous restaurants in Miami Beach were required to follow a mandatory curfew aimed at reducing coronavirus exposure and spread. The city is now relaxing its curfew to some degree by allowing restaurants to continue their operations beyond the stroke of midnight. However, those hoping for some late night takeout on the beach should know these “beyond midnight” services will be limited solely to delivery.
While the efforts are aimed at assisting businesses, the changes are not being wholly embraced, with some restaurants not seeing much business activity during the late night hours. However, there are others that do see lots of buying activity during the later hours. The ability to remain open beyond midnight may help with keeping the businesses afloat as well as serving food to individuals or professionals that are currently doing their part to help the community. These may include security guards, healthcare workers, and first responders, for example.
Do you think extending the hours of operation for Miami Beach restaurants beyond midnight is a good idea?
