The start of Memorial Day weekend is imminent, which means there will be potentially thousands of people visiting Miami Beach to enjoy all of the events taking place, dining on all of the different food, and also sunbathing on the world famous sunny sands.

Miami Beach’s Memorial Day weekend has been practically synonymous with the popular Urban Beach Week, which is known for its lively parties and concerts centered around hip-hop. However, this year Miami Beach is also playing host to several other events such as the third annual Air and Sea Show as well as its inaugural arts and culture festival titled Re-Frame, which will showcase plenty of South Florida artists.

If you’re among the many planning on visiting Miami Beach, you should be aware of a couple of things. For starters, vehicular traffic will not be permitted on Ocean Drive starting Friday morning through Tuesday morning. There will also be barricades present to cordon off the nightclubs and the many different cafes. Those driving in Miami Beach should know a traffic loop will be in place between Fifth and 16th streets beginning at 7 pm on Saturday through Sunday night.
