Try These South Florida Eateries for the Holidays

Another month means another opportunity to highlight the best places to eat in South Florida. With the holiday season in full swing, these suggestions are great for a day with the family, friends, or any snowbirds looking to experience a slice of the 305.

Once again making the list is Stubborn Seed, one of two new restaurants launched by a former Top Chef winner. At Stubborn Seed, you can enjoy food items such as herb-roasted wagyu, celery root braised in citrus, and a selection of classic desserts. Located in the South of Fifth area, its address is 101 Washington Avenue.

Also making a repeat appearance is Lutum on Bay Road. Launched by the same people responsible for El Grito next door, Lutum diners can try a broad menu showcasing Miami and its status as a cultural melting pot. Try a different burger each week or go for something a little out of the ordinary like falafel Scotch eggs.

Recently showcased on Deco Drive, 1-800-LUCKY is the first food hall to ever emerge in Miami. Diners can try food from seven distinct Asian-inspired eateries, including Japanese ice cream cones in a fish-shape. Besides the food, there is also a convenience store and a record store. 1-800-LUCKY closes at 3 am daily.
